As written, TC and all the rest are always off. You cannot help a big front engine to be lazy entering corners. It's just physics. We all dont like understeer and the GT-R, despite of having good grip mid corner, just takes longer to find the line. It's a great road car. (take a mid engine car like a 458 and it shows how faster it is entering bends) On the track, you need patience. And we dont find any excitement when pushing. Race cars are a totally different story

The fact that people care about acceleration and top speed doesn't surprise me at all. When we run single seaters sessions, first question we get from people is -how fast we go on the straight? -. It's irritating. noone asks -how later can we brake? How faster can we take that corner? How many Gs can we carry into Turn 3? -. Noone

two issues with the GT-R, with all the electronic systems it makes the car more forgiving a real drivers car should bite you in the ass if you step an inch out of line and also, its still a Nissan, you can't impress anyone by saying - I drive a nissan- maybe a ferrari, lamborghini or porsche but not nissan.

Again, I couldnt be bothered about top speed of any car. Not impressed with any speed number. A 2 liter single seater eats every supercar with 700 hp, even if looses hundreds of meters down the straight. Straight line speed is for monkeys: ) No disrespect to monkeys: )

It is an incredible engineering exercise, it's quick, stable, it has lot of grip, the engine is great but, when it's time to pick a car for hot laps, we literally run to the Posches to rest out helmet on the rooftop first! Great review Chris

Just watched a few of Chris's vids and I have to say, that you are THE MAN!
Excellent proper driving and analysis. Really worth watching. That GTR is a bit of a motor then!
Top Gear PLEASE NOTE.

what you said there about it going around the corners is why people prefer the LFA over the GT-R, it feels more alive through the corners, too bad most fans ONLY focus on acceleration to 60mph

GT3 and GTR both understeers if the driver carries too much speed into slow corners.
I race in Sepang International Circuit in a cup car.
If you think GTR is boring you can turn TC off.
