Damn you walked into that Damon. The cop set a trap by saying you were doing something slightly worse that reported. Since he didn't have eyes on you doing anything he can't ticket you until you admit it. Which you did. Notice how as soon as you said nono we were just revving. He stopped explaining and just says I need your License and registration. Until then it could have been another red car. Good cop though. He said he didn't care because it was a Ferrari that was reported. Where's his mask also. Where I live you need a mask still to go anywhere

I had a loud v6 challenger and i got pulled over at least 100x from 16-20yo i now have a racered, even louder mustang and have only gotten puled over once (kind of deserved it though) never once in the challenger did i do anything wrong to get pulled over

Can t issue a ticket unless they witnessed it themselves, or of the complaint is signed by the person who called it in. Meaning the person who called it in would have to appear in court and explain why he called what he saw and if he can prove it.

The cops can t legally give you a ticket because there is no evidence that supports you doing that. A witness can make up what they saw. Therefore if they give you a ticket you can have it dismissed for lack of evidence.

Damon a officer has to actually see the offence in person to issue a ticket if they see surveillance footage the best they can do is a written warning if it off of hearsay then a verbal warning

I don't know canadian law, but i think in the US they can't give you a ticket based on someone else complaining, they would have to witness it themselves to issue you a ticket.
