Well, that's f-ing gave me goosebumps The jet-like sound, the rapidly building speed behind that tsunami of power, the incredible rush Like many here, I've watched lots of supercar videos on Youtube over the years, but very few have conveyed the sheer sense of speed this one does. And I love the split front and rear views, which really helps convey the speed. Wow, wow, wow Now, someday, maybe, if we're lucky, we'll get to see a Chiron do this run, but maybe more like 260 mph. fantastic video. Thanks so much for posting: )

Those jet engine sounds some are commenting about, it's the sound of slashing the air at high speeds and is mostly associated with airplanes for that reason. That's not the sound of a jet engine, nor does it sound like a jet engine. You pretty much don't hear the engine at all in this case, you can only hear how the car is slashing the air and the rolling of the tires, that's it.

Only the first run was with the Top Speed Key engaged? All other shots show the car in handling mode. 230 mph is great in handling mode, but way more is possible with top speed key enabled top speed drive mode. Is the road not smooth enough to drive in top speed mode? In 2014, the record speed of 246 mph was achieved in top speed mode, I think.

Yeah I would not be doing that on that road with that car. There is a place for that and it isn't there. Spinning out on a runway is a lot safer than spinning out and going into a ditch or smashing into a hill at 230 mph. Kiss your ass goodbye.

I've been to the even before. When I went they had two Porsche 918s. It was shortly after their release to the public so there were only 5 in the nation at that point. Wish I could've gone this last weekend

that car can go 1/3 of the speed of sound. that's why you're hearing that supposed jet engine sound. it's because of the air hitting the car and as it picks up more speed the air traps it even more.

You shouldn't have mounted the camera on the outside of the car. The picture might have been less good, but aerodynamics would have been better and the car could have gone faster.

230 even lol you mean 227 lol big difference in 3mph if your trying to clam something is going a certin speed just saying think the announcer needs to go back and do some more math

Curious, if he was going for a high speed, which 230 is nothing to laugh at, why didn't the driver put in the second key to lower the car and hide the airbrake/spoiler?
