AT 320lbs, Jessica Beniquez from Spring Hill, Florida, started her weight loss journey in 2016. Growing up, Jessica was always overweight and it was not until after graduation she finally put her foot down. Jessica told Truly: -I was just sitting in bed watching Netflix and I would binge watch for a good two months. After that, I was like I am done with this. Jessica was stuck in a dangerous routine of watching four to five hours of TV and eating which was causing her weight to increase. She wanted to feel and look better and decided to make the journey to a brand new self. I was just lazy. I just didn-t want to do anything or talk to anybody. I was drawn into the show and just didn-t want to get off the couch. As well as binge watching TV, Jessica would fry a lot of her food in oil. I would cook like deep fried food corn dogs, French fries, chicken strips, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks. All of it. I would fry it. It's crazy like thinking back on my old eating habits because now, forget it. So gross

We should have a health plan, for, pre-diabetics borderline diabetics & late stage diabetics. For example these people should be educated on the symptoms of diabetes, the damage it causes to the body such as blindness, kidney failure, edema, by-pass surgery, annurysim, heart attack & stroke. Because firstly prevention is better than cure, the country will save millions of dollars in kidney transplant, insulin & heart surgery. Afterall diabetes leads to all these diseases. Heart disease is the biggest killer in the world, followed by stroke. People need to wake up & smell the roses, because we eat to live & Not live to eat. This health plan should incorporate dietians, doctor's & exercise, before it's too late. Diabetes affects more than 450 million worldwide annually, & in the USA alone every 4 mins a person is added to the kidney transplant list. People must avoid stroke at all costs, because if you get a stroke an effort that used to take you 4%, after a stroke it will take you 70%. You can still enjoy your fast & fine foods & live a healthy & satisfied life.
Diabetes is reversible, even in the late stages, but the sooner you have a healthy diet & make it a habit, the longer your life expectancy will be. I wish I had studied the symptoms & damage diabetes causes & I would have taken drastic action 20 years ago. Just look up the symptoms of a stroke, because I don't want anyone to ho through a stroke.
--------. It's also the responsibility of diabetics obey their homework & comply with the health plan.

Weightloss is a journey in itself. Healthy habits and lifestyle can make you loose weight so easily. I took 2 week 1000 & 2 week 2000 jump rope challenge just with a 15 - 30 minutes workout you can loose upto 5 kgs in a month which is awesome -. Instead of just thinking we should be little active and we can loose weight slowly. We should not follow crash diet instead eat fresh homemade food and quit Packaged Food, junk food, fried food and sweets for healthy weightloss

I just started my umpteenth lifestyle change. the difference this time is that I am in the right headspace. Just too danged tired for this old body to carry it around any longer. joints hurt. I have changed my life three weeks ago and trying to get out and walk every morning. baby steps, just over 1km. takes me longer than my husband but then again he is a lot fitter than me. she is very inspiring.

An unspoken reality in the fitness world is in every other self help/ addiction program. People demand someone who's had addictions, been in combat, lost a child, etc, they even mock a counselor that hasn't ( any of examples) yet a large percent of personal trainers haven't been morbidly obese or even overweight in their life. Just increasing -

I meet her last year at LA Fitness Expo of 2020 and we talked. I didn't know who she was back then. I started to learn more about her and her story is truly inspiring. Now I wish I should have took a selfie with her.
