Koala Breeding Making Animal Babies BBC Earth

Australian scientists use artificial insemination to help increase the population of these adorable marsupials. From the BBC Show Making Animal Babies RuLeZ1988: Unfortunately they did not explain this plan in detail. but i assume that they get sperm from captivated koala and give it to wild koala. Which would make sense, because you cant breed captivated animals and then let them free into the wild. Those animals would most likely die in a wild environment then. So it seems to be the only way to do it really, if that is what they did there, which i cant tell, since they did not explain it in detail.

Ive heard that male koalas only mate by means of rape. They will overpower the females regardless of the situation and forcefully impregnate them. And if they dont cooperate they throw them out of the tree.

My guess is that they did artificial insemination instead of natural mating in order to keep the gene pool more diverse. Just guessing though, I do wish they had explained that

My grandmother came from overseas and never had seen or heard or Koala's. One night she screamed that there was a monster outside and my dad reassured her it was just a koala XD

YOUR BODY IS FERTILE FOR IMPREGNATION! LET ME PUT THIS INSIDE OF YOU AND WATCH YOUR WORLD FALL

Why don't they just let them bread naturally? You have to take the fun out of it at the end for the male, that poor little guy
