Had one of these little fluffy bois as a pet. To be honest it was sort of like having a tiny eight legged cat. She liked to go places she wasn't supposed to, did what she wanted, was very curious and loved to be handled.
My one was a bit. uhhh odd though. While handling her, she would often jump for no reason and no where to go. I used to call it 'popcorning' because she would pop up like corn. She didn't go very far and never hurt herself doing it, but it was so strange.
She also seemed to get transfixed onto faces, she loved looking into my eyes for minuets on end. She was a true cutie, I still miss her.

video title: largest jumping spider in the world. video proceeds to offer zero discussion of species size and zero footage or photos of species contrasted with any familiar items for reference. instead, video provides discussion pertinent to all jumping spiders (except where untrue, as all species can jump farther than 8x their body length. useless video

Why do they jump at my nose though?
I got bad experience eith them. But im learning not to suddenly crush them with mach 1 speed. Its an inborn reflex whenever they get close to me. its slow progress but yeah I think they are the most harmless spiders.

If those were the size of a sheep, we'd become an endangered species on this planet.
Something to think about when DNA engineering becomes a school practice in 50 years.

I once made friends with a jumping spider in Thailand. It literally was acting like a pet. Couldn't believe it. and now I realize they are pets for some people lol

They can jump 8 times their own body length [ 8x25 mm= 8 inches] that's like a human jumping the length of a school bus. No, it's like a human jumping 8 inches.
