Improving my electric longboard with a CAN Bus! What can the CAN Bus do? EB#44 Ricardo: Did you made another videos about CAN bus system, i recovered a very damage battery from an electric bike, is 36v and it has battery output, charger input and 8x wires labled Link A, Link B, GND, CAN L, CAN H, VSYS, WKUP, 1-WIRE, is obvious these 8x wires are not for balancing the battery cells but i don't know why the BMS board would have these apart from the battery having a standby mode controlled by the CAN bus.
Any idea.

Im currently restoring a pontiac trans am onto a KITT from Knight Rider, and with all the computer bits in an old 1984 car, I am looking at installing a CAN Bus into the car to control everything. Its a big upgrade but I think you for your explanation. Thanks,

Neiss, a longboard with a long wire to connect to the CAN-bus in the car so it could stay synchronized with the locks and the car-stereo.

If a device with a low id keeps sending data, does it keep getting priority over and over again, and prevent higher id devices from sending?

Nice explanation, about CAN, now, can you sometime make a video about how to make some kind of experiment with the IEEE1394 interface?

The outro was the highlight aha, great video Scott, I just recently did a design proposal that used Canbus, it's a pretty neat system
