Have you played a game? First, one student is shown a picture. Then he or she must give an instruction orally to a group of students to draw that picture but that student is not allowed to show the picture to the group until the group completes their drawing. I use this game when I teach the language of instruction or command. The group can use this Autodraw to create the picture as they listen to the instruction.

I can see using this to teach visualization to students after they read an especially descriptive piece of writing. They have capture in drawing as much as they can from the text. Having anticipated images makes it less about the art of drawing and more about the visualization of the text.

Thank you so much. It's a great tool. Teachers can use it to teach any language. They can dictate words, sentences or a paragraph and students can draw accordingly. This tool will help students to comprehend, retention , improve vocabulary and keep them engaged.

Takes me back to Harold and the Purple Crayon. :) But seriously, perhaps students could use this to illustrate math problems (distance/rate/time).(I wonder about 3D figures)... prior to solving a problem... esp to upload to LMS

I can see using Autodraw to add simple graphics to presentations; brainstorming ideas for business cards, and the like.
Thanks.

This is great for moderate to severely handicapped students. They could use this program to draw more realistic drawings.
