Looking at this lovely collection of pictures, I do once more realize how privileged I am to have lived in this era. I was born in 1960. I am not saying we were by then living in an ideal world, but we had hope. Throughout these images I can feel the vibes of those days, and it can sometimes fill me up with an almost painful sense of nostalgia. Thank you so muchfor the work invested to put this together.

Really cool seeing these images! The text for the images of Lynda Carter were odd. One read -doesn’t leave much to the imagination and the other one read-Lynda Carter showing off. Seems problematic, especially when you see a image of Arnold Schwarzenegger in a bathing suit walking the streets of Munich and the text reads -to promote his new gym.

Wow. When Madonna was beautiful now she looks like a circus freak. She should’ve aged gracefully, she would still be gorgeous. Now she looks so alien most of these people don’t look anything like themselves anymore

I had a crush a mile wide over Natalie Wood around this time. I turned 15 in 1960 and even tho' I'm not from the USA all of the actors, actresses and musicians featured here bring back so many memories.
