Jupiter, the largest planet in our Solar System. A gas giant capable of sucking up and condensing millions of tons of space debris. So why don't we use it solve one of the Earth's stinkiest problems Our trash. What if we decided to send the worlds garbage up into space and launch it into Jupiter How would we manage to send this much trash into space And would this help our problem or make everything worse

After Earth what gotta be the most Dirty and Trashed Planet in a whole Universe, just because we're Humans are too good for trashing Our beautiful Home Planet Earth, but always when I'll see a trash on outside, I'll take that trash to a carbage, of corse I always have gloves when i'm cleaning Our beautiful Nature defienitily here in Countryside. There already is Our Trash in Space on Our Earth's Orbit, on the Moon and on the Mars too, we're too good trashing Our own Home Planet Earth, why we'll have to trashing Space too In my opinion dumping Our Trash to Jupiter is the Worst Idea ever, but I'll see what you are chasing, every dumped Trash will destroy in Jupiter's Storms, maybe that is good idea. About of what we have to do to Our Trash, I have a Scenario too: What If We burns Our Trash here on Earth These Scenarios are really something interesting wow!

If you were going to send our garbage to some heavenly body in the solar system, it would make MUCH more sense to send it toward the sun for at least the following reasons:
1) The sun is just a quarter of the distance from the Earth as Jupiter is (and Jupiter is even further away than that when it's not in alignment with the Earth in the orbital plane)
2) The sun is a better 'vacuum cleaner' than Jupiter because it has a MUCH MUCH greater gravitation pull (therefore less work or expense is required to get a payload there)
3) The sun is a natural incinerator
4) There's pretty much zero chance that ANY life form could already exist on the sun (unlike Jupiter)

Yea as much as I agree with the governments coming together to fix this issue, due to the politians and corporations not thinking its there problem, that it even exists, or take advantageof another country, the jupiter idea does seem MORE plausible. Sad to say.

It would not be tricky navigating the asteroid belt simply because each asteroid is many miles apart from each other. It's not like in the movies or video games where a ship has to weave in and out between asteroids so this is a false concept.

Why Jupiter and why not venus. since Venus is no where habitable we can use tht planet as trash collector. that would be a lot closer and needs very less efforts compared to Jupiter

If you want to dispose of all the garbage from Earth, then it actually makes more sense to send it directly to our central star. It doesn't even have to get there to burn completely.

Venus or the Sun might work too. They're both basically two different versions of hell. A mission every 50 years or so would be good enough
