THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS - FULL AudioBook (by Kenneth Grahame) Greatest AudioBooks V2 I remember this book and it's a very long book but the I remember about this book is there's another story written by the same person and that's the reluctant dragon. The word reluctant means disinclined.

'Lest the awe should dwell
And turn your frolic to fret
You shall look on my power at the helping hour
But then you shall forget.
Lest limbs be reddened and rent
I spring the trap that is set
As I loose the snare you may glimpse me there
For surely you shall forget.
Helper and healer, I cheer
Small waifs in the woodland wet
Strays I find in it, wounds I bind in it
Bidding them all forget. '

3: 38: 00 is chapter 8 'Toad's Adventures'
I'm going to update this each chapter as I go. The times in the description says incorrect.

The book is being read by someone with an American accent. It’s like painting a Rembrandt with the color pallet of Warhol.

1: 36: 01 a good read of an audiobook so far. It's different from what I have read and has great value of meaning.

The narrator did an amazing job, each character had their own voices, and when singing the carol song he did it perfectly

Huge respect for the reader - wasn't really looking forward to the American accent, but it was lovely. Thank you.

I listened to this while painting a forest, and now every section of the painting reminds me of a part in the story.

I have a homework assignment for this book and it’s due in 3 days so that’s why I’m watching this.

An American accent, but beautifully modulated: gently and attractively developing the story.
