Each of these shows was unique. I think TVD and OTH did the best job growing each character. Glee was good the first three seasons but then it tried too hard to mix the new cast with the old and it honestly just didn't work. Friday Night Lights was a little better but had the same issue. Those two shows both would have been better off ending after 3 seasons since the whole plotlines are geared towards being in high school whereas TVD and OTH were able to morph with the orignal cast outside of high school.

I like Kyle Chandler. I like Jason Katims. What I didn't like was this show. Friday Night Lights was a horrible train wreck. After 10 minutes of watching I felt as if I would never see anything as horrible on TV ever.

biases aside, they are all great but The O. C has to be number 1 and OTH has to be top 3. They are the best TEEN TV series. Skins is definitely also top 3 imo but Friday night lights can't be top 5.

The Vampire Diaries is more of a 2010s tv show as it came out at the end of 2009 and was running almost the entire decade till 2017.
