Nothing But The Truth was 13th in my list of top movies of the 2000s. It includes my favourite Kate Beckinsale and Matt Dillon performances. Kate is easily among my alltime five favourite entertainment industry interview subjects. She consistently displays a high level of intellect, refinement, and vitality. Her physical characteristics, especially her voice, generate, for me, an allure unmatched by any actress in motion picture history.

I'm a WW2 living historian and watching Kate In Pearl Harbor was the ONLY reason I watched it. You missed actually her best movie -Cold Comfort Farm- an all star cast and she was only 18-19 years old. Find it and watch it as its hilarious. I will leave you with one line from the movie, -there is no butter in hell- and say it with fear.

What's interesting about Beckensale is that she'd be as adept at Shakespear Christopher Frye or Samuel Beckett as she is at comedy, horror, Sci Fi, or Indie Art House film. She's too beautiful to be a chameleon like Andrea Riseborough or Rebecca Hall or Blanchette but never count her out.

Firstly, alongside Monica Bellucci she's one of the two most beautiful women in the world. You didn't even mention her best film, -Love And Friendship-. She is also great in the -Underworld- movies. Kate in skintight leather, stupendous.

She was not a -bounty hunter- in Underworld. She was the adopted/turned daughter of one of the three in charge of the coven. And a death dealer, sworn to protect them. And this was by far her best movie. But hey, I'm a little biased.
