Talion at 14: 40: the world is changed, nothing makes sense
well as much as anything can 'not make sense' in a fantasy world where evil demigod warlords forge all-powerful jewelry that can help them take over said fantasy world, and said evil demigod warlords have literal ghosts as servants
also, I think that in the trailers, the game should have made some trailers MV's for Ice-Nine Kills' A Grave Mistake, it has similar themes of revenge from the grave as this game

Are the -Shadow- games meant to be part of the Peter Jackson LOTR cinematic Universe? Or is it more like the Batman: Arkham games, which came out when the Dark Knight films were current and had a batsuit design that was partially inspired by thse films, but used voices and tuff form the DC animated universe and the level design was partially inspired by that? Are the -Shadow- ggames set in their own version of the Tolkien universe?

Edit: I finished Shadow of War yesterday. I am not okay, and now I don't know what to do with myself XD Might just replay SOM.

Came here because I missed the Talion/Wraith dialogue after the cutscene at 3: 52: 00, but just wanted to note that I had the same Captain and Warchief names (scripted/standard for everyone) and I didn't need to pick up the runes before the cutscene - it gave them to me after I was back to gameplay (which was a relief.

Really sucks the way the world of Middle Earth can only be expressed beyond The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings is through video games. I mean it's better than nothing but I think there should be books, movies, etc. The Tolkien Estate is damn stubborn.

Enjoyed the game. The combat mechanics are very responsive and smooth. The story though is mediocre at best - being forgettable with a thinly laid plot. The voice acting is not very impressive either. But it-s a great hack-n-slasher.
