ELDEN RING Flying Dragon Agheel BOSS FIGHT PS5 Gameplay (4K 60FPS) Michael: I think people are making too many distinctions between dragons and wyverns. It says -Dragon- in it's name, and there ate plenty of dragon in media/fiction that are considered true dragons even without the extra set of forelimbs. Dragons with four legs don't really make any sense if you think about anatomy(yes I understand that this is all fictional and doesn't have to make sense irl. Winged creatures in nature have two legs and two arms, just like humans. Even your pet cat has two arms and two legs, it just has a body plan that means it has to use it's forelimbs for walking. Wings are arms, not a third set of limbs that sprout out of the back. The dragons in A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones have the same body plan as Agheel and I never heard anyone nitpicking over them technically being wyverns. I think these distinctions come from Dungeons & Dragons where it's very much the case that dragons have 6 limbs and wyverns have 4, but wyverns in D&D also have poison stingers and are quite a bit smaller than Agheel.
TL; DR, Agheel is definitely a dragon.

I just finished playing the Network Test, and it was amazing (I couldn't see all the content though, because of homework, projects and stuff.
So far, the game is a 9/10 for me, sure, it does still have a bad camera against big enemies and a couple of imported bugs from DS3 (like Estus cancelling, but the game surely will be polished and there's a lot of potential.
In this case, -Agheel-, even though it was a wyvern and not a 4 legged dragon, it was far better than I expected; it was better than all the wyvern fights from previous Souls games:
- Red and Blue Drakes from Demon's Souls
- Red Drake on the bridge from DS1
- -Guardian Dragon- from DS2
- -Ancient Wyvern- from DS3
It had a simple but nice moveset, it has an amazing design and, even though the majority agrees it was an easy fight (especially with the horse, it was still amazing.

you can cheese this boss with the jellyfish summon Agro the dragon so that your jellyfish fights it then back off the range of the jellyfish is ridiculous and you can sit there while its pelting the Dragon it will eventually get poison build up takes about 10 minutes if you do it this way I didn't even have to use a flask or take any damage or even move

Looks awesome, the boss is rather simple and limited, just hit that single foot, and for a dragon, I'd feel the fight would be fkin over quite soon imo (like not at all in our favour: P) but hopefully, they make the fight slightly more interesting and 'complex' mechanically but audio/visually, A1+.

How come the giant animals always have their backs to the man? And the man hacks the poor beasts' achilles. I think the fighting scenes are terrible, not well done. I thought I wanted to buy this game, and I still do. Better fighting scenes are needed, more equal fighting.

Nice fight sequence.
I lured Agheel back towards the cliff and took shelter inside the cave-like ruin with two entrances, waiting until his fire breath stopped and then attacking him with magic spells. Finally killed him that way.

wow fighting Agheel with that large health on your character is pretty convenient. I fought him with only 18 Vigor. haha died around 3 times before whooping it's ass. did not even know that I can actually damage it by hitting it's legs! ---

I tried to use a bow I found to stack bleed on it while it was flying around and it killed me my 1st attempt. Used my regular Golden Vow, Flame GMS and scholars armament and killed it in about a minute my second attempt-

I came across him when I first got the game. I saw the guys and was like -Hey, I could probably get some loot from them- and didn't see the friggin dragon until it was right above me. Long story short, I died quickly --

More than any boss in the game, I wish I could forget Flying Dragon Agheel and fight him again. One of the coolest things ever to me, randomly encountering a flying fire-breathing dragon and having to face it.
reply

He didn-t do it in this video, but one of his attacks he starts flying and torching everything with fire and I admire how badass that shit is every time. What a good dragon fight.

Me on the Beginning around Level 40 i run on a Wyvern like this died over 20 times under 3 to 5 minutes- what did i do Climbed a Cliff and spammed Arrow's at him
reply

I will never forget how scared and shocked I was when I saw a freaking dragon appear out of nowhere in the sky. One of the best entrances in the game.

-I can fly, but I'll just stand here on the ground as a puny human hacks at my feet. Even though injuring my feet is fatal, apparently. -

I got a biggest jumpscare from this dragon. try to look what those ritual they do and try to farm then. then whooosshhh got swope by dragon
reply

Wow what amazing combat, hit a monsters feet repeatedly until it falls, and don-t get hit more then once or you die. Ground breaking combat-

Not 100% but I think dragons are still weak to lightning, like the old games. Slap thunderbolt on your sword, does some extra damage.

Miyazaki: -Okay, so how do make an epic first boss-
Dev: -How about we make Midir the first boss-
Miyazaki: -Perfection-

10 years ago, i (we) fought dragons.
Several months after this, i (we) will fought dragon(maybe -dragons-) once again.

Fighting him without horse is really fun actually, and it-s even better with a friend which is rare for a dragon boss
reply

I used the greatsword to kill this beast and BOY it was so easy. No f-cking wonder it's called the -Dragon Slayer-
reply

Haven't watched any playthrough's yet, but are there any Midir level bosses in this game? (or at least decently close)
reply

This boss keeps despawning when he's ontop of cliffs on PC. Dont fight him near the edge or he keeps repeating it.
reply

One of the worst boss in soul-series, I expect him to be more aggresive like midir. The first phase is boring as hell.
reply

First time encountering this guy I got flattened from behind and stood clear from the lake until I took down Margit.
reply

Ah yes, the classic Ancient Dragon's stationary foot stomp. Brings back memories. -dies to the 1km fire breath AoE-
reply

It isn't 4k60 on ps5, its dynamic 1800p, and the frame rate rarely touches 60, its closer to 50 most the time
reply

I wonder why it's called a dragon even though it looks like a wyvern. Maybe there's some lore behind it.
