Vintage computer hardware, oddware, PC games, electronics, and strange old tech. Excellent donations as always, thank you so much! D827: Being on lockdown currently came across your unboxing videos. some trips down memory lane! A real shame the sun workstation didn't survive the posting to you back in a previous video. If it'd have had been one of the older ones it may have survived, my father worked for Sun and I grew up with lots of them in the house as well as every version of the pc from xt to pentium and a number of quirky systems such as the Oric systems and Toshiba MSX which came with a awesome sound cassette tape with the advertisement sound effects on.

After watching a ton of LGR and 8-Bit Guy videos (this month, I've been reminded of an IBM game my peers and I played in elementary school. It involves entering coordinates, and after telling it to execute, the -spider- (as I remember it) would draw lines into patterns and pictures of sorts. Does anyone remember this growing up? I'm pretty sure it was on an IBM PC considering I remember the Apple II we had didn't have a lot of software that worked. so this rules out it being an Apple application.

I hope one day you find what I'd consider to be the holy grail of oddware, it was a keyboard that came out at either the tag end of the 1980s or the start of the 1990s. The fun bit was that each individual key had a liquid crystal display unit built into it. The idea was that each and every key could be reconfigured to display any other key, though why someone would need to do that was never explained.

My Commodore 1702 monitor (with intact door) came with a TON of packaging peanuts! But for $200, I'd rather clean up that mess than find out the monitor was trashed in shipping.
If I ship something like this, I'm going to try expanding foam in a can and trash bags.

LGR, not sure if you'll see this, but is it possible for you to review the Might and Magic series? It's an old D&D-like game series that came out in the 80's and is still going on today, sort of, last Might and Magic game came out in 2012, I think.

-LGR, Clint, you once spoke of using an eyeglass frame mounted camera especially for your thrift store hunting what model was that and also what do you use as a camera for filming these unboxings? Information much appreciated thank you.

If you ever review the barbie games I would appreciate to see if there's a way to print the barbie fashion designer's patterns in pdf, instead of wasting paper (I tried everything I know but my options are limited) Thanks in advance

'Sample' covering the UPC implies that some of those Barbie boxes are copies allocated for promotional use - full retail versions, but either intended for professional review or just gifted to friends or family of someone at the company.
