You forgot to mention Snape's look and behaviour were also influenced by Alan Rickman's ideas. The movie Snape is quite different from the book Snape- much calmer, straight-faced, silently menacing.
Alan also came with the idea of adding all those buttons to Snape's costume. He imagined Snape patiently and resolutely doing all those buttons in the morning. This is quite symbolic, since he was both restraining and shielding himself, forbidding his real emotions and intentions to come through.

Cool vid! Just one thing.
Who is this Ralf Finnesyour talking about?
It doesn't take a genius to find out that Ralph Fiennes is pronounced as Rafe Fines!
When creating videos to honor movie-franchises, also honor the actors by not butchering their names!

Great video but it's really irritating that all the scenes shown in the video are mirrored (it isn't that bad, but it's just kind weird for someone who's seen the movies a lot, like me)

Okay, but the dance with Luna is actally in the book! Its describes how Luna and her dad are spinning in circles and swooshing their hands making it look like they are swooshing away flies
reply

Ahahah I always thought Hermiones laugh after emotional range of a teaspoon was different from everything else thats because it was actually Emma laughing

Actually, the candles in the Great Hall (in the first movie) were real! But they kept falling down which is why they only did it in the first movie
reply

8: 09 FYI the candles are 100% REAL in the first 2 films but they made it cgied in the 3rd film because they kept falling into the actors head
reply

I was enjoying the video until you butchered Ralph Fiennes' name. At least learn how to pronounce the actors name correctly, c'mon.
reply

the floating candles were real and held up by string so they had to do many takes to make sure they didnt fall on the actor's heads
