Okay, no offense for Glenn fans, I loved the guy, too. But his death It was gonna happen anyway. Sure, the quality of the show slowly went down once Negan came on, but it wasn’t because of Negan himself or Glenn getting killed. It was the depressing writing that was taking place during Season 7. Hell, if anything, Negan himself was the best part of the Savior War seasons.
However, if you wanna talk about the death that totally messed with the show Hands down Carl's, no question.
He was not ever supposed to die. Ever! Like the comics ending as well as what Negan said, that kid was the future. The only reason why he was killed was because Scott Gimple, the show runner at the time, had somewhat falling out with Chandler Riggs over minor BS. And because of that, it also led to Andrew Lincoln wanting out of the show, hence Rick's sudden departure a season later. And because of that, the whole storyline for the last few seasons really derailed compared to the source material.

Lexa was unbelievably overrated. She was only in like 10% of the show, she was HORRIBLE for almost her entire time on it and everyone acts like she and Clarke were some amazing couple as if their timeline isn't: meet up and demand the death of her boyfriend in exchange for their peace, allow her to mercy kill her boyfriend so he isn't tortured to death for an entire night, kiss her like a couple days later, then betray her immediately after, then have her hunted down and brought to her as a prisoner, keeps her there against her will, and then suddenly displays respect toward her and sleeps with her and then gets shot and dies.
That's it.
Clarke had more a relationship with NILAH and GAIA, one of whom she never even dated, than she did with Lexa. And Clarke and Bellamy are literally ENDGAME in the books and they only butchered his character and stopped them being together cause the showrunner or whatever didn't like the actor or some shit

6: 25 Everyone tryin to say Roseannes Twitter post was racist when it was just accurate. She said that a lady who i'm told was black looked like a character from Planet of The Apes. I say i'm told she was black because I saw a picture of her and did not think she was black. I thought she was maybe Greek or something else. Anyway the post was accurate. Look at a pic of the women she was talking about and look at a pic of Ari, the ape she was referring to played by Helena Bonham Carter, a white lady. They have the exact same haircut and color of hair. Her post had nothing to do with race but everyone is literally just loooking for something to be offended by especially if the individual has a certain political leaning not in line with what the entertainemnt industry believes.

Having grown up with the Arrowverse, Laura's death was a good pick for this list. It didn't stop me from watching it (been a while though) it definitely hurt. Though an honourable mention would be when they killed off Robin Hood at the end of Once Upon A Time season 5. I was really hooked onto his beautiful relationship with Regina, especially since they had good chemistry and they both brought out the good in each other (mainly him for her, so when he suddenly died I could barely get into season 6 before just giving up.

Not a tv series, but my biggest peeve in books or anime series is when the strongest and interesting characters die. My best example is an anime series Fairy Tail, Laxus is a very strong character who will end you in 5 seconds yet he gets taken out at the very beginning of every major battle and you don't see him again for another 100 chapters, yet the weakest has one fight early on and is done for but somehow has enough stamina to fight 3 more powerful enemies, on deaths door again and does a victory pose at the end.

There were THREE notable murders by the Saviors that should have been avenged. Glenn, Abraham and Denice. Ranked in that order, maybe. The losses might have been worth it, if we'd gotten our REVENGE. But instead, we got to see Rick become Negan's b! tch. The pussification of Rick is what ruined the Walking Dead. I won't waste my time watching a show with a poossyboy as the hero.

The death of the one true king stannis baratheon haunted game of thrones.
King Stannis, was the last serious character and after his death the remaining characters were just a bunch of dumb kids.
Daenerys Targaryen was always evil! She literally crucified an entire City and multiple times mentioned how she was going to burn entire cities to the ground.

I disagree with the Number one.
Rita was one of the most annoying characters of the show.
Self centered, needy and controlling.
A lot of abuse victims ( the show claimed Rita was one of them) stated that Rita couldn't be one, because of her behaviour.
And in my opinion, Rita was a hindrance for Dexter - maybe that was the reason she was written off.

BTW, Rosanne's departure was based on misinterpretation of what she said. She was not being racist; she was being set up to leave. She had explained what her remark meant, but the powers that be already decided she had to go. She should have sued, since her show was her brainchild and written about her own life.

I hate that they killed off Laurel
She was supposed to be with Oliver in the comics
The show wanna do Olicity is fine, but they didn't have to kill off Laurel to secure it
And it's not like it was the casting issue
Because Katie Cassidy came right back as the Black Siren

Carl’s death is waaaaaaay worse than Glenn’s. Didn’t happen in the source material and the actor just relocated to make filming easier and had no intention or idea his character was dying. Glenn’s actor wanted Glenn’s story to be faithful to the source material.

I was so angry at Lost when they killed Juliet off at the end of S5 and then the showrunners did that to Sun & Jin, the two most popular and loved characters of the show. No one cared anymore about Jack or Kate stories tbh. I didn't like Lost last season at all.

I don't care what anyone thinks or says as a game of Thrones true number 1 fan I say that even though it was done clumsily Danaerys deserved to die if she hadn't she would have gone on to kill salsa and the North and I think Jon knew that in his heart

I stopped watching The Good Doctor after season 3's finale (if you know, you know. The character's death was pointless and I am still angry about it.
Also, unpopular opinion: Mark Sloane and Lexie Grey's deaths hurt way more than Derek Shepard's.

I only started watching Supernatural this year just four years after it ended and I'm only in season two so thankfully I skipped that before the spoilers on how he passed although now I know he will eventually. Ugh. I was not expecting that.

What makes Glen's death worse is that they made it seem like he died mid Season. Suddenly came up with a lame excuse a few episodes later that shows how he got out of it only to kill him off in the first episode of the following season

Some of these sound like they are straight up from hellers. Also I remember Isaac Hayes left because South Park made fun of Scientology and Hayes is a Scientologist. It’s why Chefs’ death was done in such an over the top and final way.

When Glenn died in The Walking Dead it was hard to watch the rest of the series. And then they made other decisions that I didn't agree with and then I really stopped watching. I understand btw that it was comic accurate.
