About the Be Yourself card: I never assumed to be tormented and shamed for being myself. And yet I was. It is not an assumption. As a neurodivergent person, this is a reality I am baffled by time and time again. This card triggers the heck out of me. People: If you don't feel safe around certain people, please remember that they don't have any claim to your authenticity! Listen to your gut. If it feels icky, it probably is. Sometimes the masks we wear are very much a necessity for our mental (and sometimes physical) health. I only show the inner me with a very select few. I fully accept myself. And I don't demand that other people get me. As long as the masks aren't wearing me, I'm fine, thank you very much.

Pile 1 and pile 2 - I have been talking about promotion at my current workplace for last 2 years. They keep on delaying it every year due to some office politics. I will have my year end meeting this month, but everything is usually decided in Oct of last year. They did tell me in Sept they are thinking of promoting me, but then didn't do it again. Am done and setting my boundaries. Opening and talking firmly is not going to change anything for them. I did talk to them firmly in Sept, but they still didn't. My bosses actually looks down upon people who asks for raise/promotion as if they did some crime and senior management or HR doesn't care.
