Here are my useless pointless $. 02 thoughts on this -essentials- list. To start, none of these are actually essential. As with anything, just buy what you will actually need and use, don-t engage in crass consumerism just to own more stuff. :
-turtlenecks. I despise turtlenecks. They make my neck itchy, my fragrance gets on the roll and decreases its performance, and no matter how well built or how good your pecs look, turtlenecks make a guy look like he has manboobs.
-overcoats: I agree that at least one good overcoat is needed. Go for a single breasted gray, dark blue or black. Look at the exquisite Tom Ford single breasted blue overcoat that Bond wears to the museum to meet Q in Skyfall. Double breasted is okay but it must be buttoned every time you walk. Leaving it unbuttoned makes the fabric swing around wildly like you-re wearing a double bib.
-hair: I guess everyone should take care of their hair year round. I fail to see how this belongs on a winter essentials list except as an excuse to plug his hair care line.
-oversized sweater/jumper: please don-t wear oversized anything in public. Alex normally looks good but that large fecal matter brown sweatshirt he-s wearing looks ludicrous. Look at how the shoulder seams are way down on his arm, those seams should end where his shoulder and upper arm meet. That sweatshirt is why temporary arbitrary trends should be avoided so you don-t end up with a closet of terrible out of date wasteful clothes that you no longer wear.
-wool suit: these are needed year round. Buy worsted wool if you want a versatile year round comfortable weight suit.
-fragrance: some people do match fragrance with seasons but just a warning that musky heavy winter fragrances are divisive and are more likely to offend people in close proximity while lighter fresh fragrances are less offensive.
-winter boots: these are very useful in winter. I wear mine under bootcut jeans. Some like to wear them with cuffed skinny jeans. That-s not my preference but your taste may vary.
-scarves and gloves: I don-t like scarves for the same reason as turtlenecks. They are itchy and they affect my fragrance. Plus I don-t like carrying them around when I-m not wearing them. Gloves are more necessary especially when it-s really cold plus they can be stored in a pocket unlike scarves.
-beanies: I use product so I don-t wear beanies. Also there-s something a bit immature looking about them so I refrain.
-flannel: I don-t like flannel due to the heavier weight cloth and lumberjack patterns. Flannel only looks good on specific guys and it doesn-t look good on me.

So for now, until I get my online business back and running, I am delivering food via Uber eats / doordash getting in and out of my car in the cold, what are some good pants that look stylish that will also keep you warm (for skinny guys, I have a heart condition that has kept me skinny for a while, my waist is more like a 28/29 or a 30 with a belt)? Also how do you keep pants from sagging in the front if you-re a skinny guy? I wear a belt that I can adjust to any size but feel like I have to pull it so tight to make sure the pants fit right but it usually causes the pants to sag or causes weird lines in the crotch, I know I need to eat more but was wondering about an alternative until I can add more weight.

OK this is a long time thought. Alex I love your vids. Been here since 100k and I throw some math into it: did a calculation from your last 10 videos. At this point only 2. 1% from your audience of over 3. 4 million suscribers is watching your videos. And IT HAS TO RING ALL THE BELLS THERE IS FOR YOU. WE DONT NEED SO MUCH VIDEOS JUST OUT OF BRANDING AND SPONSORSHIPS! STOPPPP ITTTTTT! GO BACK TO QUALITY.

Alex great video as usually! One small feedback: You live in LA, where temperature never goes below zero, what about people from regions, where is does plus snow is present as well? I am sure someone will give a thumb up for this quote: ) Can you do Pt2 of that video for -proper winter region- inhabitants?

UK here and I cannot for the life of me find a decent winter styled bomber and I-m seriously thinking about buying one I really liked via Canada Goose-
( My bank account either really loves me or really hates me after my last few weeks of spending, fml )

Stay away from Thursday boots, the boots are g Pretty good but their customer service is not. They sent me a conditioner with my boots which discolored the boot and they would not stand behind an exchange very disappointed very bad customer service

Hi Alex Costa
Can you make a video about hair loss because I've been growing out my hair for 5 months and now I'm facing hair loss and I don't know what to do!
By the way, I'm a teenage boy
Could you help me with this issue?
Thanks

I tend to shy away from beanies in the winter because it always messes up my hair. Ive found that a solid pair of earmuffs that wrap around the back of your head are a game changing!
