Being Vegan Is Easy Homemade Protein Balls

We wanted to make a quick and fun little blog about one of our favourite homemade plant based snacks. This is something we have been making this summer that keeps us fuelled through long shoot days, hikes, or even as a healthy mid day treat. Packed with protein and only natural ingredients, these vegan balls will have you ball crazy in no time RECIPE: Vegan Chocolate Coconut/Truffle Protein Balls: Ingredients: 1/2 cup Raw Almonds & Cashews (natural) 1/2 cup Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds (raw) 1/4 tsp Sea Salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp Maca Powder 1/4 cup Cacoa Powder 1 cup Dates (pitted) 3 tbsp water 1/4 cup Cacao Nibs Shredded unsweetened coconut and cacao powder left for the topping at the end. Directions: 1. In a food processor, grind nuts until theyre finely ground. 2. Pulse in cacao, vanilla extract, maca and salt. 3. Add the chopped dates and water until all the ingredients are blended nicely into a dough mixture. Add cacao nibs. 4. Roll the dough into balls 5. Roll the balls in shredded coconut or cacao powder. 5. Place balls in the freezer or fridge and freeze for at least 30 min then serve Enjoy Mark and Juliana X

I'm French so sorry in advance for all the English mistakes I will make: ) I love this video if you could make more of it. I am currently a vegetarian and intend to become vegan (I try to eat more and more vegan. I have some concerns about it though. First, it's very complicated to track every small ingredient everywhere (even in toothpaste, or shampoo, it's also very expensive. It's really something that needs to be prepared carefully, I don't want to be half' vegan and still wear wool sweaters for example, it does not make any sense. Second the social part is also very annoying, being vegan really ANNOYS people. They call you hippie (negatively, and you're less invited because they know you can not eat anything. The last one is the price, I struggle to find a cheap replacement to everything (butter for example. Last question: what are your main sources of protein and iron? Sorry for the big message, if ever you find time to answer me, I would be very grateful: )

I don't know want f you guys will see this comment or not but thank you so much for this video I've been looking everywhere for a recipe for balls for my kids that has all of these super ingredients in them Thanks so much for this Really It's stressful as a vegan family with a unbelievably picky eater and this will help so much. It's also perfect for him because he has ADHD and this will keep him full, nourished and happy to avoid the meltdowns. Sending good vibes to you both from Canada Still laughing at the balls intro

That squirrel is sooo cute omG Your food processor is also soo cute it's really cool, good workout using that: ) And the Balllls look soo delicious: ) I tried a salted caramel flavour one and also mochacino one (just add a little coffee to the mix. Strawberry and macadamia is an amazing flavour too: ) so many options. They sell loads of different bliss balls in packets in supermarkets here in NZ with similar ingredients to your ones: ) Love our sense of humour guys Keep up these awesome videos: ) much love much love

By the way i love balls: ) he he i have some similar resept, but i also but melted (in a water bath) extra virgin raw coconut oil into the nutmix. In norway dates can be quite exspencive so i go to this indian shops and i buy packs of date paste, it is really cheap and it saves me some work in the kitchen: ): ) Thanks again, you are awsome.

I noticed that no sweetener or sugar was added to the mixture and being that cacao is bitter, wouldn't have a bitter taste? Or the dates compensate for that. Also, could I use almond milk instead of water? What if I added agave? Sorry, I'm not going vegan but I'm trying to incorporate more vegan meals into my diet so I'm new to all this. Anyone can respond. I'd appreciate it.

Can't wait to try these might add some organic peanut butter too. the chipmunk in the end was adorable I'm excited to say I'm now full vegan and loving this lifestyle. thx for the heads up on the documentaries, they hit home and made me cry, but resonated with what my heart soul and mind had already been considering. love you guys love & light

I can't eat any nuts or almonds, I have allergy. Same for fruit that have nuts in it. Can't eat beans either. It's so hard to find alternative for meat. But I try to eat smaller amounts of meat, the diet can be boring at times. (sorry for my bad English)I train to your videos and I love it You are a great inspiration
