Almost a year on from this launch, these are my thoughts. Currently comparing this to a new colourpop palette in collab with Disney called 'midnight masquerade'. Fraction of the price and with lots of colour similarities to Manny's palette. I love Manny's idea in theory, and the packaging is beautiful, but perhaps in practice it could have really made a statement and been more daring than yet another warm nude palette with a few statement bolds in it - just white noise at this point. Was far more enthusiastic when I bought his newest launch of the 'moon spell' palette because of the purple and green colour story for halloween. Manny has some really clear concepts that could be fully developed into something really interesting - greek goddesses, witches etc - but this launch just missed the mark for me. Golds and sea blues and olive greens and bold coppers would have made for a clear and atmospheric concept and theme, instead of all the neutrals. I believe as I'm writing all this the palette, is out of stock, but if Manny ever thought to restock this and someone considered snapping one up, these are just my thoughts.

I like this palette and the idea behind it, but I dont think the names match the shades, plus youre forgetting a few goddesses that should have been in there (for example, Demeter. I think Aphrodite should have been a pink color and Artemis should have been the silver shimmery shade, and i can think of a few others that id change. Again, no hate, i just feel these would make more sense. Otherwise, i really like this palette

Hello People
I would pick a greek goddess name and do an eye shadow that represents her. For example i would do olive green for athena cause she planted an olive tree in athens and thats why the city was named after her name etc. i cannot imagine a greek palette without blue, green etc. this is so poorely made, lack of imagination and knowledge. just a basic nude palette with a unique name and design

Don't pay attention to the salty ass comments Manny I think it's amazing that you get to create and put your name on something that YOU are proud of. Can't wait to add this color pallet next to Life's a Drag in my collection. You were the first beauty youtuber I watched when my love of makeup began. Can't wait to see what comes in 2019

One month ago I bought Life s a drag and I was really impressed with the pigmentation and packaging Tho I bought it from beautybay at half the initial price. I will definetely won t pay 48 for this palette. the packaging is AMAZING but i m not into the color scheme. another nude palette with a pop of blue.

Hold up. Dont get me wrong, the colors in the palette look pigmented and beautiful BUT when I think Artemis I think the moon, silver, nighttime, not warm sunrise. You should have switched the name of Athena and Artemis so Artemis got the white shimmer shade and Athena got the warm brown

I love this whole collection. Im a huge fan of Greek mythology and I think the packaging is gorgeous. I think a lot of people took this way too seriously and literal instead of just appreciating the aesthetic. Ill be ordering the whole collection if still available right after Christmas.

Hey Manny, just an FYI, Zaya is not a Greek name. Its actually Assyrian (aka Mesopotamian. As an Assyrian, I definitely purchased it though, because it doesn't actually say the collection's name on it (thankfully lol. No shade, just a head's up. PS. the palette design is PHENOMMMMM.

For everyone complaining about the name of his packaging or whatever Let me tell you That It's his choice his investment his life. So let him follow his dreams and not be judge by people And go follow yours cause I'm sure you don't want to be judge by people yourself so

Concept aside, I had to come back almost a year later and say that Im OBSESSED with this highlight palette. I use it every single time I do my makeup. I still have mixed feelings about how powdery the shadows are but I personally love the colors and they blend nicely imo.
