Funny enough my love food came from grad school! I went to LSE for my Masters degree w/ an interest in studying sustainability & public health. A lot of the issues that are discussed in academia in these areas are very nebulous, so I had to find something -concrete- to tie it to. When I looked at the food on my plate & thought about where it came from, how it was made, & how it got to my plate, i was able to conceptualize of wider issues that I am passionate & concerned about. Hi there! The recipe itself is completely vegan. The -cheese- we used was also a vegan substitute. Sour cream is obviously not vegan, but I have seen vegan sour cream options at some health food stores.

Ok, cute video but this is super duper not vegan. sour cream AND cheese? No no no. This should just be called 'Vegetarian Chili' and leave the buzzwording to another recipe, sans dairy.
