When i was joining college i wanted to join for fine arts but i couldn cos of the lil finance that my parents had, nw m married for years, quit job cos i hated the corporate jobs and there is no single day that i feel sad that i cudn join for fine arts. art has always been my passion.

I agree with you there, infact, to prove your point one could take a finished painting and make an identical one only with different colors and while it would be the same subject-composition, the mood each painting gives would be different. Btw, if I hadn't said already I do like your painting you did, though you always show us cool paintings and stuff. Speaking of which, I gotta get back to my own paintin. been waiting forever for the battery to charge lol.

You know Brandon, I was never able to take art classes at the college level and I've tried joining an art club, now that I'm older and the kids are all grown, but the information I wanted was not available. Club conversation tends toward light gossip or discussing new ailments. LOL. Anyhow, I really appreciate that you post what you have learned online for all to share.

I've been watching those and they get more and more useful and informative with each video. How about creating mood through edges and shapes: when I see a picture with very sharp edges it somehow gives me a sense of urgency, or even anger. Soft edges and glows make it more mystical and relaxing. But that's just me.

Kitty! .Sorry I was distracted by your pretty, striped, furry, female friend. The colors we use have energies that we pick up on and that's what attract us to certain things we tend to like. Never really considered it applying to artwork till meow. ;)

So wierd I had a vision of the exact same thing of the blue glowing planet in the red squids grasp and painted it on a 2x3- a few months ago. collective unconscious ideas archetypes are real.
