Hei Stan i just wanted to thank you so mutch for all your drawing videos. I always wanted to study art and to learn more about drawing. But the School in my country rejected me because my schoolgrade whas not good enougth. But thanks to your videos i can pick up my dream and learn from a proffessional to learn more and more. 1: 18 that is not what Hale sounded like. For everyones sake, try to go find a clip of him saying 'femur' and 'the backbone', also if you have to watch all of his lectures for a class, watch them with friends and tally how many times he coughs.

Considering the models having long legs. To what degree can a leg be proportionally longer.
I even measured the proportion of those models with long legs, they make almost no difference.

So how do you take proportion into account when foreshortening a certain part of the body? Is it really only guessing and observing, and not necessarily measuring using the head?

Do not ever apply this to tall people, as beyond a certain height, the head no longer grows in proportion to the body, unless the person has some sort of condition like gigantism.
