For this to work for me you would have had to speak much slower and explain everything you are doing in detail. You are leaving out a thousand details that many of us don't know anything about. This is more or less like watching you paint a digital picture, not a tutorial. When it is about the basics, everything needs to be shown and explained in detail. We are trying to understand what you are saying while you are painting at full speed without explaining what you are doing. And you are talking very fast. No pauses to allow people to think about what you are saying. While I was trying to understand what you were saying about one thing, you had already talked about many new things. You can't do it like this. And we can't sit here and pause videos for like 100 times to learn this. You are showing this to us as if we were on the same level as you are. People here are very polite. They are not adressing this. But I think you should know. This was very disappointing.

I get what you mean when you said that there is a disconnect using a non display tablet because right now I am not even able to achieve my maximum potential for character designs just because I can't see my hand movie on top of the drawing it is hard being a digital artist for cheap I thought going to digital art would be better because its cost effective but now I will need a display tablet or and an iPad because it's hard to do this yes many people have gone used to it but most people of that case didn't do drawing traditionally or maybe they just began learning about digital art in my case because of my traditional sense of watching a paper being filled with my hands I have gotten used to that feeling yes I can still make character designs but it makes me think way more times that I need to and that control+Z button is being pressed too many times now that is what happens when you did 8 years of traditional and 1 year and 7 months of digital

This was a great breakdown of your process. One thing that always surprises me when I watch things like this is that you will make some choices and I'll say -oh, I don't like that-, but then 2 or 3 steps later it makes total sense and I can't imagine the painting without it. If I had done that first step I would have backed up and ended up shutting off that whole path. I guess that's just confidence that comes from experience. I do wonder if you had that whole plan in mind from the beginning or if you are just trying things and adapting as you go.

I-m sorry dude but your Video didn-t help me at all just like almost any other video in regards to painting it-s like you guys don-t understand anymore what it-s like to be a beginner at painting you just throw some 20 min Video out wich doesn-t help

This is the perfect video I have found for a beginner. Please also make a step by step tutorial (not a speed art) of any illustration or painting I just want to grab the complete workflow in adobe illustration or adobe photoshop. Thanks

Im most comfortable with watercolor, but even with such a free medium, I notice that I feel like controlling such a medium too. I really wanna be more impressionistic and free with my art.

The only 3 cons that digital art have: 1. Doesnt feel like paper. 2. Strains your eyes. 3. Prolly expensive but so is traditional if u r gonna buy all the stuff
