I got mine a month ago and it felt like there was a whole ton of sand every time I reeled in. cleaned it, still feels the same. without the side plate, it is very smooth. When I put it back on, it is not smooth at all. I don't know if there is anything wrong with it. I did see something on the side plate that looks out of the ordinary but idk. need help!

I love the color of the reel. looks like lake fork lures black magic color. Shimano reels are best quality. And these shimano reels last like 30 years my dad has an old shimano he has not oiled or took it apart for over 28 years and it out casts my lews! Shimano for life. and abu garcia and diawa

The 100 baitcast market has never been more competitive than it is today. The quality of reels at this price point has never been higher. Shimano, Daiwa, 13 Fishing and Lews all make ridiculously good reels for around 100

I'm so excited that I'll be able to drive next year and I can go fishing. Literally might buy a moped because I can't afford a car and need to go fishing. huhhh life sucks when you have to ride mopeds to go fishing.

Shimano reels are the best. Ive tried Abu Garcia, Lews, Piscifun, Daiwa, and many others. Theres nothing that even compared to a shimano. Best reels you can buy in my opinion
