I followed all of the steps and everything seems to have worked as it should; however, when I go to the Google Play store and pick an app to install, I simply see a spinning circle. It never gets to the point where it can be installed. I will even have accepted the terms yet it will not install. Any thoughts?
The tablet is registered under my wife's account but I signed into Google with my account. Any chance that might be the problem?

It would not download google services. Now what? I did factory reset, then did manual disable advanced, and selected only a few such as advertising an alexa but and it claimed to have disabled but when I did a restart it was all still there. I then did the simple disable and selected some more. The main thing I want to do is disable the advertising and it has not done it.

So I-ve been trying this for literally 6-7 hours and it-s still not working
I can-t for the life of my get the fire tab to show up in adb devices.
I-m on windows 7 and I-ve tried like 20 different drivers, rebooting, EVERYTHING (changing the inf files) please SOMEONE HELP ME.

I really want to do this and there was a time when i was really good at doing this kind of thing. Now age has worn my brain cells down and I am not sure I fully trust myself to do it. I would like to use my Fire but I just don't because it's like watching a nonstop commercial.

Hi Chris, great video as always. Fantastic. Quick question. If you use this toolbox, does the Amazon Tablet still update the software automatically to keep it up to date or do you need to run the toolbox everytime it updates the OS? Thank you.

Hey Chris, I've been trying this for the last hour on my Fire 7 (7th Ed). The Toolbox software is -seeing- the tablet when I click on -View ADB Status- but I'm NOT getting the dialog box to authorize the tablet. What am I doing wrong?

Great video I did everything you recommend your video. The Nova Launcher says it is not set as default. when I click on to set it as default it takes me to the settings screen. how do I make it the default launcher?
