FIrfefox.. -Respects you, respects your freedom-.. ahem. Looking Glass Study. ahem.
Few other examples. They've had some odd decision lately worth scrutinizing.
I still use Firefox heavily privacy plugin laden.. although I am seriously looking around for where I want to land. Long story. I may even look into Tails in a heavyily spice enabled qxl VM for seamless desktop integration.
Not bashing Mozilla as much as I'm just referencing their recent schitzophrenia to be... taken into account. ;)

When I worked in Asia they kept trying to sell us network equipment. I even toured their factory in Shenzen. Very modern and impressive, highly automated factory. But my company wanted nothing to do with them. They had a reputation for stealing Cisco software and I totally believe it. Intellectual property laws mean nothing in China. They are huge in telecoms, they make a lot of cell infrastructure.
Their phones are pretty decent and relatively cheap if you don't mind being spied on.

Germany knows, which country did spy on Angela Merkel's using back-doors in her US phone. We Europeans know, that every month a new backdoor is detected by the researchers in the Intel processors. Besides now it is China and Huawei, soon it will be Germany with BMW and Mercedes.Trump is attacking each foreign company, that has products with technology superior to US companies. I despise the Mafia Boss Trump with his Republican Fascist Party.

Firefox, I remembered that I once truly embraced using it over Chrome. I came back to Chrome probably because of the slightly better speed, new design and since DuckDuckGo didn't have the results that I want that Google search has, so I thought I might as well just use Google search and embrace Chrome. I've always hated the title bar in Firefox and the Tab design, stuff you guys have no problem dealing with.

Hmmm. I downloaded and installed Manjaro (Cinnamon ed) to a dedicated ssd in my desktop build about two months ago just to experiment with it (currently using Mint 19.1). Wasn't because of Linus however. Think it was because of either Switched To Linux or Chris Titus Tech...can't remember.

Manjaro I think is one of, if not the most powerful Linux distros out there. I use Vanilla Arch, and since it has been working I see no reason to switch. But if it ever breaks on me, I will most likely go Manjaro. Just cuz I love Arch but might not feel like doing the manual install again.

All this talk about banning Huawei made me slightly forget about the US' own spyware called Windows 10. I LMAO when you made me remember this on the second topic about South Korea not using it because of spyware, as US is banning Huawei also because of spyware.

I like the idea of being able to donate to free and open source developers. Though I hope Microsoft doesn't end up taking a huge cut of what the developers should be making from donations. Maybe Gitlab should consider doing something similar.

DT, I noticed a new distro and was wondering if you might take a look. It's made by the US Department of Defense, it's Linux, and it's called TENS. I'd appreciate your oversight. Thank you for your measured, informed, and consistent episodes.
