How to Use Character Map in Microsoft Windows The Teacher You can use Character Map in Microsoft Windows to insert Special Characters which are not available on your keyboard. This tool comes in handy when you need to create a document with special symbols. Use Character Map to insert special characters into your documents like Special Mathematical Symbols, Trade Marks, or use different language font to use character set of another language. Please note, this video has been created using Windows 7, and working with Character Map is similar in all the following versions of Microsoft Windows versions

My character map is so small. I have tried chaning the resoultion but it magnifies everything. I only want to adjust the size of the fonts on the character map. Does anyone know how to accomplish this without it affecting my entire laptop?

Your instructions for opening Character Map are useless for Windows 10. I know your video is based only on Win 7, but do not list other operating systems in which Character Map is opened differently.

Why is it that when I follow all these steps, the letter that I'm trying to use ends up being bigger than the other letters?
reply

Useless to answer my question. I want to pin the character map to the start menu as I have in all versions of Windows in the past.
