I'd love to win me a grab bag of KIWI but I never win anything. Any hand me down parts and pointers to build my first rig on an almost nothing budget would be enough for me. I'm disabled so my budget gets worse by the day and I can't figure out which build makes sense to start with. The buy in costs are high and I need to add as I can afford it or salvage it from an old PC.
My goal is not to get rich but to mine to pay bills that keep getting bigger. The benefit of being disabled is I would always be around to babysit the rig so it would be a perfect job for me but I have to build it first.

Hi Seb, thank you for another nice video! I have been using one of the similar case, and it's really easy to use. My problem is the noise level. The server fans are noisy as hell and give me headache. I finally replaced the fans with PC case fans at the cost of 5-6 degree temp increase. As I'm mining with RX6600s and XTs, it's still acceptable.

I'm looking for an x12 myself when I get the money up or Doge hits a few bucks. I appreciate all the info on it especially the little details like the small but mighty fans and the modified kiwi interface. I like the pacing and how you let the multitude of information breath, sometimes. Lol

Im new to this and still doing research and what not but I have to say that Ive watched other vids that say that octominer is trash and that they use cheap parts and so on. But because I trust seb so much I was skeptical and I wanted to double check. If anyone could give advice Id appreciate it

Really want to start to use this octominer, but only come in bulk.... at least 10... for me isn't worth it, becuase I'm a small miner, Just end my first rig of 9 gpus., want to start one more and this look great but lets be honest! can't buy 10 of this.

Great video Seb! I appreciate the cost comparison of the Kiwi open air frame vs. the Octominer. Currently have open airframes but looking into server cases or enclosing the openair frames to improve cooling. Keep up the great content and thank you!

The
area of concern Mr Sebs, are the risers (they look to be built in) easily replaced IF one goes bad? OR does the board of risers get fully replaced??? I await your UPDATE to this video to ADD this FYI to it. Thanks Much!!!

Im currently thinking of buying an octominer x12. It comes with hiveOS but I have never used it before. I am curious how can I install windows to octominer, or should I just learn to use hiveOS?
