Convert Raster to Vector in Illustrator

I also discuss the fundamental difference between raster and vector. Vector graphics or images have a lot of advantages over raster. No matter how much you zoom in to the image, it will never get pixelated because vector images are defined by mathematical formula unlike raster which is comprised of pixel information. Besides, vector images can be very easily altered and edited. Not only you can change the color of the image but also an raster sketch can be converted to a vector and colored very easily. Also, vector files can be easily imported into Photoshop as smart object and resizing it will never result in loss of quality. Raster images are usually in the format of JPG or JPEG, BITMAP or PNG which we eventually convert to AI, EPS or SVG. It's important to note that SVG is not supported by most versions of Photoshop and hence you must always save vector image in AI file format after conversion

am working with a vector illustrator - He uses my sketches and add minor items to the image. The images are for my children's book. My question is - who should I list as the illustrator, me or the vector illustrator or both? Any suggestions? thanks so much.

Hi, thanks so much for the video. I have a question. When using the colored image, you counted 9 colors including the white one, and then you set to ignore the white color. So shouldn't you put 8?
Thanks
