t miss; these common gym stereotypes being at the front. Here, I-m going to cover some of the most common gym stereotypes that I-m sure we have all seen at our local gyms. The first gym stereotype up is known as The Hurt Locker. When he-s around, dumbbells will be flying around like shrapnel as if a bomb went off in the middle of the gym. Keep your head on a swivel! The right music makes any workout better, but when you-ve got karaoke in the curl rack singing like he-s on Gym Floor Idol, this is one gym fail that-s going to bother everyone-s eardrums. Arguably one of the more annoying gym goers is the guy who follows you everywhere to tell you an irrelevant story. Don-t make the mistake of being this guy in the gym We all know the Undercover Abs Agent, the one who will use any covert excuse to lift his shirt to show off his abs in an attempt to woo any nearby females. This is a gym mistake that-s not going to impress anybody. While endurance is an important aspect of fitness, there is one workout stereotype that goes overboard. The Endless Endurance guy will hog the treadmill for over an hour while you kill time with the free weights. We definitely don-t miss people making this bodybuilding mistake; the Spot Bro is one of those guys in the gym that asks for a spot on every single exercise, even kickbacks! Speaking of spotting, there is one gym stereotype that can ruin any workout and that-s the horrible spotter. He pulls the weight early, leaves you under the bar, and yells nonsense and obscenities with each set. This video will cover the rest of the common gym stereotypes that we don-t miss. Awesome!
This is why I built my own gym in my garage-. but you forgot:
Restroom Guy- doesnt wash hands then grabs the weights
Pool Guy- Leave a pool of sweat on the bench then says -your set bro-
Trainer Guy- if he sees you he quickly corrects anything youre doing
Zone Guy- Wont let anyone touch the 3 machines hes using because hes in the zone
Thong guy- his shirt looks like a thong
Clueless expert guy- using the squat rack to do bicep curls
Big fish guy- I use to lift 425 on the bench but I got injured

With dr. Preppers I've met it's more like taking their time to spread their towel on a bench, then sit down, think for a minute, talk on the phone, then grab the bar, hold it like that for another minute- And you're waiting all this time for the machine. At the end they leave all their things on the bench and go.

The ones i hate the most are:
1) the guy who doesn't put the weights back in the racks and keeps them lying around in a place you've never even seen in the gym
2) the one who's just sitting on the bench using social media and not letting anyone else use the bench

Guys come to South Korea where they go out for a smoke between sets, never clear their shit away and sit on benches with their phones for hours completely oblivious that other people want to use equipment. Survive that without losing your rag and you are a saint!

Yep, there's alot of Gym rats around every Gym, Almost unavoidable to not get into a real fight with one of them; If not two or more, Cause, these rats roam around also with their boys as well. -Better off with your own home gym; If you have the room?

I was so confused one day by a guy who wanted a spotter for his bench press. on the Smith machine. with the safeties engaged so he couldn't even make the bar reach his chest and was just slamming it down every rep. There was nothing for me to do.

the screamers are the worst. nobody cares if you can leg press all the plates at the gym. they bench and press weights like they gonna move hte stove themselves on moving day but the rest of us got friends for that lol

of all the athlean-x videos I've watched over the years -- this is by far my favorite! have seen every single one of those stereotypes -- your ability to create classifications for all of them is uncanny!

What drives me crazy and always will is walking in for a 5 to 10 minute warm up jog to see the 3 million treadmills roughly 100% full of people walking slowly and playing on their phones.
