The Truth About Genetics Training With My Brother Sean Baker: This is so frustrating. This is a misconception about a fast metabolism. Your body's ability to metabolize energy fast or slow does not have that kind of effect on your body composition. Your body requires a certain amount of energy (food) to function and sustain your current state. Two people with the same weight, muscle mass, leanness etc. will relatively require the same amount of energy. If one person has a more or less active life style that will determine if they require more energy not because they have a fast metabolism. You can be fat a gross and metabolize energy quickly and you can be strong and ripped and metabolize a little slower. IT'S CALORIES IN VS. CALORIES OUT. If you're 6ft and muscular you require more energy than a 5ft person with no muscle. You don't necessarily have a faster metabolism. A lot of times it's a guy with not much muscle and is very lean at like 140lbs that is said to have a fast metabolism. I'm 180lbs with 8% body fat and the same height has some people who are 140 lbs. There's no way to tell who has a faster metabolism bc of these factors. You can say tho that I require more energy to sustain my size bc I have a lot more muscle. Think if you have two almost identical body compositions and one metabolizes energy much faster. They don't require more energy. If the fast metabolism did in fact require more energy, what would the energy be used for by the body? They require the same amount to sustain there composition. IT'S MATH

I agree that genetics and metabolism play a HUGE role. People always think its weird that Im almost 50 and I eat desserts and candy all the time. I explain to them that I stay around 3500 kcal per day and lift 5 days a week. but it still doesnt compute for them. I believe in eating what you want, just in moderation cause that way you dont crave things.

So they say genes is important and yet i defy the laws of genetics. I come from a big fsmily with slow metabolisms but, ive worked out my entire life and can literally eat what i want. The gym keeps me tight and my genetics have never been an issue, unless i stopped working out for a while

Dont attack your detractors bro - dont even call them haters. Were people calling out Lance Armstrong haters or just trying to get to the truth? You dont look roided but thats not to say you never never done a cycle or that you were technically off cycle when making a specific claim.

Even the metabolism argument doesn't work. The difference between fast and slow metabolisms is so small it's not worth factoring in. The fact is, he can eat more because he is more active and has more muscle to burn energy even when he's not moving. That's it.

Having a fast metabolism is not alowes a plus if you tray to be bigger because you have to eat more than a person with average metabolism, so if matt tried to eats only clean food to be bigger he will be exhausting from eating.

Your Bicep, vein looks like your on roids or you have taken them before your body is nothing spectacular but your veins looks like you are or were on roids, I have never seen a natural with that big arm veiiiiiiiins.

Wow i thought you would do more pull ups i could do 14 with 250-260 weight or 116-120 kg when i had 205 or 90 i could do 20-30 depends the shape i was. I newer looked big as you but i am tall maby thats the case.

He's right, you can eat crap and not get fat, what junk food does is playing with your arteries, but it doesn't necessarily make you fat. Also he is not that big, maybe you never seen someone on steroids.
