3. The kids area is not as cool. Remember the zip lines and machine water guns all around a huge Zeppelin? It was like a great battlefield. Now they've opted for these fruity colors and a lame jungle gym world. Why? 4. The location is ridiculous. The original was centrally located. You could walk, bus, skate there. It was right in the heart of the city and it pulsated with energy and good vibes. You never wanted to leave. 5. The hours suck. Look, the summer is hot AF. Why would you open in sweltering morning heat and close just as the sun goes down and it's still hot AF? It should open midday and run until midnight DAILY. 6. I remember more rides that were more thrilling and with cooler names. Der Stuka, anyone? And events and parties there all summer. There was something that flushed you down into it I can't remember the name of that was amazing. This one has a few slides, buy some expensive shit food and go home. I feel like punching someone in the face.

After visiting Wet N Wild in Las Vegas the other day I realized what it was that makes it not as good as the original that was out here. I'll never understand why they disposed of that one btw; it was beloved. The new one has less slides and is set up in a way that it makes you feel like it's a strict cash grab not intended to please or keep you there. 1. The lazy river has only one inconvenient point where you can enter or exit. One of the greatest strengths of the original was that you could jump on and off of the lazy river any time anywhere in the park. Just that alone made it ten times the fun that this is. Who builds a water park and doesn't research enough to find that people loved that? 2. It's like there are slides in four corners of the park and then blank. There's gaps and what's there to fill them? Nothing. Over priced food and drinks feel readily available at every turn but as for attractions, gaps. (Continued)

Also the new wave pool is closed usually and super pussy. The original felt like you may not make it out alive. Loved that. I think we should boycott these pussy water parks until they restructure them into what it was we loved about the original Wet 'n Wild. But we won't cuz we're sheep who just take whatever they dish us.

Im going today It is the second day they are open this year. Hopefully it isnt too busy, since it is only 70 degrees out todayEdit: there were so few people there, we barely had to wait in line at all. Most of the time, we were able to just go on right away.

I live in Vegas and tbh wasn't really fun I don't think I've been to the original but people seem to leave liked that one wayyyy more, the rides weren't as scary and the things were overpriced, less rides and the lazy river you could only enter one way

That's so nice that someone gave the ghetto kids in Vegas something to do Maybe there will be less kids who are drug addicts and thieves because of this park. Vegas was very depressing for families when I lived there Good Karma to whoever built it.
