It seems the 60th is bringing some of its retro back, I feel Fantasy in the Sky was brought back to bring some of that element, instead of bringing in a new show like they did in 2004 right before 50th, (Imagine. a Fantasy in the Sky. I also sense some of that retro styling/nostalgia being retooled into the new fireworks show being developed, I hope they add more boom and less spotlights and lasers this time around compared to show Magical. More Boom Boom less SFX

I'm actually really surprised at how many people think this show is too short or boring or disappointing. I guess it is all subjective, because for me, this show is the perfect example of why the fireworks don't need to last a full half hour, or be accompanied by fancy projections to be magical. This show tugs at my heartstrings every time, and appeals to the part of me that loves Disney the most.

Do you know when the RDCT show will be showing again in 2015? I have only seen that show once and just learned that it isn't showing temporarily We are going for my 21st birthday the first week of June

Too bad they can't do the Fantasy in the sky firework version like they do on New Years. Although that would be very noisy, expensive, for every night Disneyland has fireworks

So you can get the sense of watching the fireworks from the esplanade while in front of the castle. Not that it was a bad show, but the soundtrack reminded me of the esplanade.

Short fireworks show. I know it's just a temporary but it's over before you know it. We literally watched the whole thing walking from Adventureland to Tomorrowland.
