One of the Scariest and Spectacular hikes in North America. Here's a look at how Angels landing looks like with steep drop offs of 1, 000 feet on both sides. Video shows me going up and down Angels Landing. It's one of the most popular hiking trails in Zion National Park, Utah. It's also listed as one of the top 10 hikes in North America. Definitely make this one of the hikes on your bucket list.

The first time I hiked this was in the winter and there was one place I crawled across. There was ice and I had my hands out to both sides so I could touch some rock. There are chains there now. This video starts just before what I called Separation Point. Everybody that went with me beyond that made it to the top and back down. The others turned around at that point. One evening I noticed how bright the full moon was and led a bunch of employees up. That was when I noticed that I was putting my hands and feet in the exact same places every time I went up. We were toasted at our wedding with May you hike up Angel's Landing a Thousand Times. Given T shirts to remember it. Eventually over 200 times. I carried my daughter up once. While sitting on top she looked up from her juice box and greeted three young guys who had just made it to the and were feeling pretty good about it. Hi. Smile. They were surprised to see someone so young on top, but they still enjoyed it. Sitting on top and talking to visitors about serenity, tranquility and peace of mind has always been among my best memories. I have had my 1, 000 great hikes during my lifetime. These were the best.

just did this hike today. and I have recommendations. LOTS AND LOTS of people come to do this hike. its one of the most popular ones there, so you better get there early. I recommend getting there at 6: 30 AM, and there will be parking and stuff. If you get there early, the hike is less crowded AND you hike up it almost all in the shade which made it WAY easier than in the heat. you dont have to go to the chain part, its about 0. 5 miles of chain, but if you choose not to, theres still a VERY beautiful view at the top I went to the very top and it a little bit of Vertigo, but pushed through it and made it. because theres only one chain to hold onto theres lots of foot traffic going up and down, so going as early as you possibly can is TRUST ME, the best thing you could possibly do to prepare for this hike. ask me questions down below

The very night after my wife and I climbed Angels landing we both had nightmares I swear We both dreamed we were on those edges looking or falling down Zion National Park is only 2 hr drive from Vegas. In the busy summertime you park your car out at the entrance and take the shuttle into the canyon. But in winter you can drive your car into canyon. Theres a really cool easy trail with a great view just on the other side of the tunnel. Bryce Canyon Natl Park is only about a 2 hour drive from Zion, Id recommend it. We went to both in January, there was some snow and ice at Bryce, but we still got to see the main attractions at Bryce.

This hike was amazing. Definitely get out there early because it takes a long while to even get up to the scary hiking party where the video started, and once it gets hot it gets HOT. Im not afraid of heights and this hike, especially the parts that had no rails where there really should have been, my legs went weak and I had to crouch to the floor in fear they would buckle and send me over lol. 10/10 would do it again in a heart beat.

I did that hike & unless you have extreme fear of heights it's pretty easy. As you can see there's all sorts of chains and steps carved in the rocks. At no time did I feel scared. Great view at the top is the payoff. The wide angle lense makes it look more scary. However, on a really windy day or raining/lightning best to cancel.

I remember going this trail back in 2017. The hike up was a fine but on our way down it looked like someone had an accident and there were puddles of diarrhea thought most of the mountainous part of the trail where there is chain. It was hard trying to land in a safe spot without touching the stuff with hands and feet

The worst part of the hike is just before this when you have to round a cliff edge and the ground is sloping down towards the drop. It's the one time you truly NEED to use the chains and feels like you might lose your footing. The rest is fine for anyone who can put on foot in front of the other and hold onto a railing.

I've done both Angel's Landing and Half Dome cable climb. I'd say Half Dome is the scariest of the two. The spacing between the boards and the people you have to go around on the way down give it my vote over Angle's Landing. Regardless, they are both terrific hikes and well worth the effort.

SUPER LOUD music. Totally wrecked it for me. I would much rather have just heard the actual sounds: the wind, stepping on the rocks. It would have been much more realistic and enjoyable. The part of the video I saw was amazing, but I just couldn't watch past a few minutes, unfortunately.

I did this hike in less than two hours running the way to the top in summer hot weather. My friends were to scared and I only had about three hours before we had to leave to Yellowstone. One of the best hikes I've ever done 10/10. If I ever have a sun I'm taking him there
