Driving in Italy 2: Stelvio Pass (From Trafoi to Bormio) Diana: Thank you for this magnificent drive! Especially loved the outside of the car video at several places. We have driven through so much of Austria over the years and recently have twice had holidays there postponed. When we are able to return to Europe, we are now planning dividing our time between northern Italy and Austria - thanks to your wonderful drives.

So glad I found this. Last time I did the Stelvio was early June 1984 in a 1926 Frazer-Nash - we had to reverse on several of the upper hairpins as we didn't have much lock and a solid back axle as well. Our brakes were 10 cable brakes! I remember the tunnels heading down to Bormio - there were large rocks over quite a lot of the road.

I come from Himachal, wherein we have similar steep and narrow roads. Your skill is appreciable!
A small panic moment for me was when a car came on a corner 07: 09, in India we have Right hand drive cars which means we drive in left lane: D, took me about a second to realize you have been driving in the right lane and were safe!

This video is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted video to do the talking. Great job! I now have a great idea of what the Stelvio pass drive is like. A picture is worth a thousand words but your video is worth a thousand likes!

Beautifully filmed. The whole route is breathtaking but I thought the first half hour was especially thrilling. The gain in altitude is just ridiculous! Thank you for taking me there - someday, I hope to do it in person.

Ive watched a few drives on You Tube, and Im fascinated by these high Alpine passes. I like your videos best because you dont drive too fast and you also stop to allow us to admire the stunning views. Thank you.

Just did this 2 weeks ago in a convertible, there wasnt much traffic and already lots of snow. Roof down enjoying the views, it was amazing. Watching this takes me back and enjoy again, good filming!

Awesome video at the right pace, it's probably the toughest road I have driven in Europe, that too in a Renault Clio Diesel, in July 2022. -The Amazing Stelvio Pass - Sudtirol Alto Ridge

Beautiful, it's been 36 years since my brother and I drove up this pass, so this brings back wonderful memories of that past holiday. Thanks for the 4k treat!

Beautiful drive. The route, however, is not very comfortable. Many thanks. Looking forward to watching many more beautiful drives.
