2020 was not a good year for travel, and the travel accessories of 2020 also kind of sucked. Here we have the three most worthless travel accessories of 2020 and the most helpful travel accessory of 2020. Safe travels to you all in 2021 and Happy New Year!

Love the shirt! Rum and Nicaragua is always a good time. We took a group of teens to Nicaragua on a service trip and one of the students brought home some local honey in a repurposed Flor de Cana bottle. We had to do some quick explaining to the parents. Did you know rum and honey look very similar in a bottle?

Cool Nicaragua t-shirt Mark! Our passport has gotten a big workout this year, but with the same country stamping it each time - we're stuck in Nicaragua and have to renew our visas every 30 days. Here's hoping that we don't run out of room on our passports before we can fill it up with other countries!

Loved this video! This year I was meant to volunteer at an animal hospital in the Caribbean, and visit Boston for my 30th, as well as a trip to some of the Scottish islands! Not to be sadly. I have a LOT of plans for when the world opens up again!
Stay safe, such great content!

I foolishly bought a Priority Pass with unlimited lounge visits in January as we had big plans to travel to Europe and Asia throughout the spring and summer. It would have been more enjoyable to actually light the cash on fire and watch it burn in front of me.

Qantas points and status credits, Qantas gave all frequent flyers 50% of the status credits they needed, and then later on, told flyers that you only needed to take 1 flight to top up your status credits, to keep your current status: D

Only worthless if you let the pandemic stop you from traveling. We went to Turkey and El Salvador and thinking about Mexico and Brazil. All those countries are open for tourists. Just take precautions and respect all the restrictions.

Hi there! Just met you on Means to Travel livestream and subbed. This title was so intriguing. We did use our miles to get free flights. but upgrades have been useless to me for years. I live in DFW area and NEVER get upgraded!

My favorite Wolters family acting used to be Mark and Caleb avoiding walking around a pole in the international superstitions video. Now its Jocelyn and Mark demonstrating the virtues of noice cancelling headphones.

I managed to use #1. I got three stamps spending 57 days in Ecuador and 40 days in Peru. Did not travel as much as I had planned but not a total loss. What are your favorite noise cancelling headphones?

Passport came in handy to travel to UK to take care of 79 yr old MIL. The worst travel accessory this year for me (which is usually great) was the AMEX platinum. A whole lot of $$ for nothing this year
