Sorry you couldn't pay me to fly Emirates again. Having flown once with them in their A380 Business class BKK London via Dubai and experiencing the worst service pore food on any airline. Paying extra for their so called first class I wouldn't waist my monies. Yes I have had their mezze and unlike you I found it rubbish tough vine leaves and second rate olives and cold just out of the fridge dips. But maybe your taste buds are not the same a mine. Trust me anyone even traveling B/Class is spending well over the top for their at best rubbish product. I will give them 1 point for their B/Class lounges they are at least good. That's if you don't include Stansted UK as that's rubbish. Old dried food and cheap wine only fit for cleaning the toilet.

Have to disagree with you on this one. Etihad and Singapore have a better first class product. Based in Sydney and flying to London return for example:
SQ 1st class- AUD 12k
EY 1st class- AUD 11k
Ek 1st class- AUD 16k
No value for money with EK. Plus SQ and EY are more tastefully designed.
However if you want the best value for money then QR Q suite is the best seat in the sky.
Just my opinion

I really wish travel vloggers would invest in a clear mask, it would make things so much easier for those of us needing to lip read. The subtitles aren-t always accurate. I should have said, great video, so looking forward to when we can all travel again AND now the UAE are Jew and Israeli friendly at last. I-ve always avoided Emirates and ethihad because of this.

Emirates is so tacky! I don't like to travel with them: it's always loud and far too flashy. Fake briar, fake gold. The only thing I like is the wine offer, indeed fantastic. As for the pod, is not very different in terms of space and isolation from the one offered with business class on the flight Doha - Sydney A350 Qatar Airwys.

Every time I fly back home to the UK from Australia I fly with Emirates first class. Its out of this world. I have used multiple airlines and Emirates are the best. Wouldn't even contemplate using another airline now.
6 return flights so far and hopefully next August to.

Yes, I had a fly after upgrade at gate. Had damaged leg, it was gorgious. Only one bad thing -I did not really leave and business class after First experience felt simply claustrophobic

Your boy James Asquith will probably agree about the level of first class product but I am sure he would rather watch grass growing than getting on Emirates again: P

As ex-crew with over forty years in the air, I still find travelling in a t-shirt and hoodie, especially in first class simply inexcusable.

Great video!
The fact that you have to take on your mask and then take it of in the lounge really shows how silly it all is.

All that stuff would be wasted on me. I hate flying and tend not to even stand up while in the air. Looks really nice tho.
