Kyoto long considered one of Japans most beautiful cities. From its temples to its modern delights, check out the top sights of Kyoto. Kyoto: Once the capital of the nation, #Kyoto is now an ultra-modern haven that retains a great deal of its ancient charm. To see some of this long-established glamour, make your way to Kyoto Tower. #Visit Gion, an entertainment quarter and home to many of Kyotos famous geishas. During your #vacation, see the Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka districts, where cars are prohibited and traditional teahouses and temples adorn the nearby landscape. #Explore the great open plazas of the Haian Shrine or spend a quiet moment in the Shorenin Temple and its beautiful gardens. The most famous of Kyotos temples is Fushimi Inari-taisha, a stunning red complex that sprawls over Mount Inari. A hike to the summit takes about two hours and will lead you through thousands of colorful sub-shrines and thick, ancient forest. Once youre at the top, youll have a stunning view of Kyoto

I live in Osaka where is next to Kyoto. as I saw comments that people should avoid going to Kyoto in summer. I'm afraid it's true. Even though the temperature is around3033 degree. but you may feel it is like over 40 degree because of its humidity and the landscape.
I recommend you to visit Kyoto in autumn around November. you can enjoy the beautiful leaves changing its colour into red. hope you enjoy Japan!

Kyoto is one of the most beautiful city which I traveled in Japan. Everything is true in this video. However, I didn't visit to Bamboo Forest. It was a pity. I didn't say goodbye to Japan because people said that: If you say goodbye to sth or someone, it means you won't come back. So I decided not to say it. See you again, Japan - my dream country. From Vietnam!

Terrible video. jam packed with hyperbole and surprisingly little information. 7 minutes, felt like 30 minutes, couldve been summarized in 3 minutes.

Travel tip for Kyoto, you can rent a kimono for the day for about 30 dollars US. Great experience if you're doing it with a friend or by yourself.
