These are considered motorbikes in many, many countries and require a license. If you are involved in an accident while driving one of these, without a license, you are not insured. Yes, almost everyone does it, but that doesn't make it a good choice. There are some things to consider. Drive safe.

riding in Thailand at night time is NOT recomended. Doi Inthanon is very steep but quite a nice place. Pai is party central - next time try the Muang Pai Fish Farm for accomodation. The Witching Well cafe for great food. Thanks for the memories
