I worked on the Atturaif development project early on. I only wish the Saudis were a little more honest about the history of the location. The archaeology revealed clear remains dating back to Roman and Nabatean times, yet the people in charge of the project buried (literally) that fact and claimed there was nothing there until the Saud family showed up almost 2000 years later. Politics took precedent over truth.
