I did this hike/climb 2016 -awesome. I was amazed at the challenge the sub dome presented. Unlike the dome itself there is nothing to hang on to as you hike up. Many hikers got to the base of the dome then wouldnt go up. This video could have been my hike - same perfect weather. Thanks for posting

Now it's so crowded when climbing those cables. A few years ago someone fell while climbing that stretch and took a couple of hikers with them. Meaning. three body bags were needed. There are many, many better and less crowded hikes and treks in the Yosemite backcountry.

Just finished a trip to Yosemite. The Half Doom hike is certainly beyond my physical ability. Therefore I have more respect for all these brave souls who are able to finish the hike and be rewarded with the spectacular view.

My favorite place on earth. I've been there about fifteen times and am happy I got to do those climbs when I could. I'm seventy now and my next visit will probably see me confined to the valley floor.

I think sometimes you just record the sounds directly from NATURE, let's just hear and listen them. Your soundtracks for all of your video logs were totally unnecessary and over the top annoying.

Your video comes as close as any I have seen to do the immense size justice. I've been lucky enough to travel all around the world, but Yosemite holds a special place in my heart.

Wow, those people tempting fate standing, or laying by the edge like that, no guarantee that those rocks could give way at any moment, as many rocks obviously have, very dangerous

It work have been good to hear the waterfalls, hear the birds and what ever else in this video. Instead of the mundane music. That actually sounds some what evil to a point.

I'm glad I did this years ago before the throngs of people invaded. What a great hike to get there. A few rock climbers made it up to the top while I was up there.
