FYI, one of my fav pics is when I had my wife take a pic of me sitting on those public communal stone toilets. It was behind the rope, but no guards were anywhere near. Also, I think you missed the academic area, where there were schools in Ephesus. Behind the main street and fancy storefronts. I noted that the stores facing the main street had nice stones in front and cheap stones behind their stores.

Another excellent video. The music was nice and soothing, also. It just seems wrong that this once amazing and beautiful village is left in rubble, abandoned and lonely. Do we know what cataclysm or event broke all those pillars and damaged all those buildings? And, do we know for sure when it was built and by whom? It looks like Greek, or Roman construction, which is so beautiful.

I think who has not seen Ephesus himself can hardly understand the dimension. An ancient harbor town which today lies by landing about 60 km from the sea. The reconstruction of international aid today gives a deep insight into the past. Thanks for the recordings in good quality.

Interesting. These places and ruins must be quite old. Are you European? Do you mind saying? I assumed for a long time that you are American but recent observations lead me to believe otherwise. Another great video.

To my surprise, it seemed much more Western, then Middle Eastern. Of course, to me, Turkey is difficult to categorize and what might be on what you call a cline. I only read the description after having watched the video.

Beautiful, as always, Milosh. Few people in Ephesus. When you visited the house of Mary, didn't you smell a flawerish scent in the air, even without flowers at sight. Probably is just sugestion. Thanks for sharing.
