The Stawamus Chief is one of the largest granite monoliths in the world, located near the town of Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. It has three main peaks, separated by deep gullies, the highest peak rises 700 m (2, 300 ft) above the nearby Howe Sound. The Stawamus Chief is one of the most popular hiking trails around Vancouver - a challenging steep trail up and down the three peaks, with incredible views over Howe Sound and to the north to Garibaldi Provincial Park. The indigenous people considered the Chief a place of spiritual significance. At the end of the video: a couple of shots from the nearby Shannon Falls.

Phenomenal videography. Spectacular! Reminds me of the White Mountains here in New England, on steroids.
Maybe do a video of the White Mts. someday? I know you would love them.
Just prepare for the brutal wintry weather and high winds on top of Mt. Washington, even in the summer sometimes.

It always amazes me, how trees and shrubs grow in every crack in the rocks. Nature just keeps hanging on in every corner. It also amazes me there are 49 thumbs up with only 8 views. How did that happen? Thanks for sharing! Looking out for your next post.

Canada has some great scenery, glad you could get up that way. Particularly like the shot of the distant mountain taken through the gap.
