Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide In this one-hour special, it's party time in Europe. In addition to all its epic history and high culture, Europe also knows how to celebrate and it does so with amazing gusto. Joining Rick, we drop in on the Continents top 10 festivals, each one rich with tradition, great food, and fun with the locals. We run with the bulls at Pamplona, don a mask in Venice for Carnevale, dance with Spaniards at the April Fair, cheer on the horses at Siena's Palio, hoist a frothy stein at Munich's Oktoberfest, toss a caber at a Scottish Highland Games, and join European families for their traditional Easter and Christmas celebrations. No museums or galleriesjust Europe at play. Filmed on location across Europe, this promises to be a very entertaining hour

Hi, you are an extraordinary person who can inspire anyone who does not like to travel. I have never seen such warm communication with people of every state. And there is nothing more pleasant than your beautiful conversation, loud laughter, carefully thought out story. Im not American, but European, or rather Lithuanian, therefore I dont understand English a little, but just look at the pictures and listen to your speech. After all, you can speak in silence.
Wonderful videos of your travels in Europe. You admire your mind, your deep understanding.
I always thought that the American could not understand and admire Europe.
It is not so easy to integrate into the European Union. After 50 years, we lived behind the Iron Curtain. All roads to foreign countries are now open. Therefore, this generation does not speak English. (1950 - 1960)
Sincere thanks for your hard work in spreading the news about Europe. Maybe youll talk about Lithuania. Maybe. maybe. you are a big hearted person.

Thank you Rick Steve's for your wonderful videos. My family and I have been following you for more years than I can count. You instilled the travel bug in us, and we traveled as a family when they were young, and now in their 20's they travel by themselves. We recently took our teen daughter to Paris in December, and even though there was a boycott going on we had the BEST time getting to know parts Paris by walking everywhere we needed to go. In the African American community world travel is unfortunately a rare opportunity. You helped us teach our children that we truly are all one no matter where we live. I've been binge watching your videos for the past few days to remind me that no matter what we'll all get through this. Thank you so very much for the great gift you have provided us all.

They give the leader a sausage? Hmm. What kind of sausage? I hope the dipsticks on Ancient Aliens don't watch this because they'll start saying the costumes represent alien contact with ancient Slovenia.

Prague Christmas market is much better and it is not displayed here. Btw not all locals like Octoberfest because too many drunkards and prostitutes in streets.

America truly has no culture. I'm so jealous. Over here the holidays amount to little more than Walmart selling some seasonal candy.
