To me, the best site is Chambord, along with the other castles of the Loire valley. It's the perfect mixture of Art and History and the visits are really enjoyable even with kids. There is great food & wine, and the area is the cradle of the standard French language. People are friendly and nicer than in the South, where they can be a little proud and aggressive.

I traveled around all of Europe and the world, France is the most beautiful country, but the FRENCH are the rudest and least helpful -VERY poor work ethics, always in a bad mood, and have NO concept of service of any kind, add to that most big cities are full of crime and Muslims are 40% of the population which you can imagine what is that like.

How did this manage to talk about Versailles with no mention of Louis XIV? And I think there were a few shots of Blois on the Chambord feature? Also, there is NO WAY St. Tropez is number 2 tourist attraction. You can't get within 30 miles of it in summer. I've lived in France since 1975 and never been there.

The Millau bridge IS impressive, but the height is measured to the top of the towers. The distance from the roadbed to the ground below, however, is a different matter. The Royal Gorge bridge in Colorado is almost 20 meters higher.

Touropia, you have got your chateaux muddled up, you show Chambord, then you change halfway through to Chateau Blois, further west. I have visited the latter and remember it well, the horseman and the spiral staircase.

As a French man I can say Saint-Tropez is really overrated. Just going 20km from this place you can find the village of Sainte-Maxime which is in my opinion a much better touristic experience.
