This video was filmed in late November/early December if Im not mistaken Very normal to experience moderate to strong turbulence over the open Atlantic that time of year due to the jet stream. I don't like it either, especially over the open ocean, but I've gotten a lot better about processing what's going on around me and accepting it as part of the travel experience. Nice ride though! I took Delta One business from Zurich to Atlanta this past June on a 767, so unfortunately I didn't get a nice enclosed space like you did since it was an old plane. Delta One on an A330 feels like the American attempt to replicate the QSuite. and looks like we had the same menu to choose from: )

I do like the privacy door! I don't think that I could sleep through that turbulence either! But, then again, I can't sleep on a flight, anyway! Otherwise, nothing really stood out for me . except that french toast with blueberry compote! Have you been to MSP airport ( voted #1, again ) It really is nice! However, there isn't anything worth visiting, here. so, I guess that answers my question! Lol! Nice report, dear LTE, once more. And I liked the music! Happy trails!

I am scared of flying in general, and especially of turbulence. I used to take a sleeping pill and be fully awake, except for when I was in transit or when the flight had landed. So I take melatonin for a more natural feeling. Anyway, Delta seems like they offer a good product. I liked that in the lounge the buffet seemed to have Allergan labels. And the dessert cart is a good idea because if anyone decides not to have a dessert you can ask for an extra.

This is what a business class flight should be like. I am off on a cruise from Barcelona to Miami later this month and am flying back on a BA a380. Given my past history with BA, I am pretty sure your flight experience onboard this Delta flight will be much better than my one will be. I have flown with both AA and Delta and have always been happy with the service provided by each carrier. Enjoyed the review.

Why are lounges in the USA so loud How are you supposed to get on the plane in a relaxed manner As for the best business class, I don’t know. But I don't use US airlines and can't compare them, but those low shoebox corners you see there are anything but comfortable for a person who is 2 meters tall. But if I had to choose US airlines, I would probably prefer Delta.

I’ve flown countless times, but the second turbulence hits my hands still get sweaty. Not a fear of flyingit’s just that split-second of what’s happening that throws me off. And weirdly enough, I always feel calmer on an Airbus than on a Boeing. Might sound silly, but it’s true. Great video, thanks!

I flew with Delta criss-cross America in 1994. Not Business Class. Only Economy in their 757, 767 and one L1011, from Orlando to Atlanta. Service was okay for the povo class. Qantas still had their 747-400 to fly me from Lax to Syd then onto Melbourne. No direct flights in those days. I feel ancient.

Thanks for a great VID, the flights are really my favourite clips, I have also been a keen follower of yours for around 10 years, your introduction to Negresco and St Regis hotel was a great experience for me, thanks also for keeping your silent style, you are a leader in your field, I salute you.

That sky club might as well be the general population. This would absolutely not make me happy at all. Complete and total anxiety and not worth the extra money. I feel like after earning the privilege to be apart of the club it would be mapped out 10x’s better than that jeez

I hate turbulence, especially after I lost most of my sense of balance after a spinal stroke. Flying over water doesn't bother me that much (unless it's far away from the coast)- if the plane has to land in an emergency, water seems slightly less hard than land and buildings.

Such a shame that there providing credit card access to the lounge. A clear no go. Its a slap in the face for real loyal customers. And then they even don’t let you enter on domestic flights to customers but with cc you can enter Never fly a us carrier. Too much greed.

Thanks for the review of Delta one. I don’t mind minor turbulence. But don’t like the roller coaster effect where the plane is rising and dropping. I’ve never been a fan of flying, but business class like Delta One would make it a bit
Less stressful.

Once again another excellent flight review. I would never take an ambien on a flight though again. Flying on Qatar once IAD > DOH, took one and fell asleep then woke up in an awful sweat believing there was a train coming down the aisle. Never took one again

The lounge thing was way better 6 years ago. Now everybody has a card that gets them access, so why the hell would anyone wait to get in for bootcamp chow line food. Nuts and a Sprite for what, $8, 000 These type videos are getting old. ..

Just flew Delta One from Honolulu to Haneda and return. The Lounge at Haneda was great - lots of good food and ramen to order, plus special desserts. The Missoni blanket was nice, didn’t have the meal, just slept. Great flight crew.

I didn't see anything outstanding. The business class lounge is simply awful. It's noisy, cramped, and the food is disgusting. The flight itself was pretty average. There are many airlines better than Delta listed on your website.

I also don’t like flying over water for long periods of time or turbulence, so I’m With you there LTE. Let’s face it, USA hasn’t got many good business class flights to choose from. I loved the video though

Looks like a nice product. That Sky Lounge looked rather nice & large but definitely crowded. Perhaps Delta ought to go with a lounge the same size as the Emirates lounge in Dubai. plenty of room in there.

Hello, I really like your videos. I would like to ask you, which business class would you recommend on Qatar Airways Boeing 787 or Airbus 330 Im planing to fly from ARN-CMB via Doha.
reply

I'm not great with 'rough air' as they call it on the in flight video, I have no idea how you do it. I would be like you, awake the entire time even if I take a sleeping pill.
