Yeah, after going to Myrtle Beach for Fourth of July weekend, I went again in October. I got to stay in an oceanside hotel for just $70. 00 a night. And even in October, the temperature was still comfortably warm.

30 Years ago that Beach was great. They got rid of the main amusement park about 20 years ago. I live in SC and I still know alot that head to that beach each year. Glad you liked it.

Myrtle beach has some really rude jellyfish who like to sting! The Peaches comment was hilarious. . I would never pay $1200 a night for something not on the ocean.

I'm an old guy my band played the pavilion back in 64/65/66. The beach had only small motels back then, I believe there was only 1 high rise called the Landmark
